DESCRIPTION:The choir under our conductor\, Cameron Murdoch\, will be kicking off our long awaited return tour to the Isle of Skye with a concert in Sabhal Mòr Ostaig under the auspices of SEALL. SEALL is one of Scotland’s leading rural performing arts promoters. Based on the Isle of Skye\, it aims to bring the magic of performance in music\, theatre\, dance\, literature\, comedy and children’s shows to remote rural venues across the Isles of Skye and Raasay. DESCRIPTION:The second of our seasonal Christmas concerts sees the choir return to the beautiful Freemasons’ Hall in Edinburgh. This concert will help to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. In the UK\, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer mainly affects men over 50\, and your risk increases with age. The risk is even higher for black men and men with a family history of prostate cancer. DESCRIPTION:The choir is delighted to start our Argyll and Lochaber Tour in a return visit to Lochgilphead Parish Church. This will be our first\, official\, concert under the baton of our new conductor Cameron Murdoch. Cameron’s accompanist for these concerts will be the talented Matthew McIlree. Today’s concert is free to enter but will entail a retiring collection for the Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Scotland. Our last concert in Lochgilphead was wonderful and we look forward to a great afternoon of singing in this lovely venue.
